Chromatica; Lady Gaga’s 6th studio album is finally out!. Released today, may 29th at midnight, after a very long wait, and much anticipated come back from the early days Gaga, we finally got what we wanted, a full on electro - dance extravaganza, to dance our behinds off and rip our throats off while singing along.
We have heard two of the main singles from the album so far: Stupid Love and Rain On Me; both super uplifting dance pop anthems, that have had us hooked and craving for more ever since they were released (or rather; leaked). Pretty sure many of you were waiting for the struck of midnight to be able to finally get your hands on this record and see what it has to offer.
I must admit, it wasn’t love at first sight, for me personally, the songs kind of have to grow on you, listen to them a few times before you actually like them, which I guess you can say is a bit of a disappointment. Perhaps it was the fact that we have been waiting for so long for this side of Gaga to come back, that the wait was simply too much to handle, or who knows what it is really but, non the less the record is a banger; every single song is a dance anthem; Gaga very cleverly “disguises” her most profound feelings on every song with super uplifting dance beats and not to mention super iconic collaborations with Ariana Grande and Sir Elton John (you may have heard of them).
Most of you, I’m sure have heard it by now, but if you haven’t it is definitely worth a listen. Some of my favorite songs are: Alice, Stupid Love, 911, Enigma, Replay, Sine from Above and Babylon, which is kind of lost track from the Born this way era.
