Dior Menswear Fall/Winter 2021-22

Oh mon Dior! Clash of elements, that’s how we describe Dior’s latest menswear Fall/Winter 2021-22 collection; and we mean clash in the best, most magnificent way possible, as the design house explores several “outside” influences and portrays them in impeccably wearable pieces. Arts, craftsmanship, sportswear and traditional Asian garments are just a few of the most outstanding elements present in this collection. There’s also a slight but not overseen infusion of military and royal influence in some of the pieces, making “camo” come back as one of the most anticipated prints for the season as well as some detailed coats that evoque a royal era from the past, all with a modern and most contemporary tailoring that exudes youth. Believe it or not minimalism plays a huge part throughout the entire collection, which adds to the whole beauty of it; to see how all this elements can be contained and preserved in the purest form and showcased in the most spectacular fashion, literally

Raf Simons first collaborative menswear collection with Miuccia Prada is a complete and astonishing success from start to finish. A masterful collection inspired by the body and a longing for connection to it, this fall/winter collection brings the Prada house front and center stage to the new era of fashion. Body fitted, onesies with different neck constructions (turtleneck, V-neck, polo), in intricate patterns that perfectly blend in with layered oversized solid colored coats and topper knitted pieces and puffy leathered jackets that make perfect sense and bring astounding balance to the entire outfit, as well as fitted tops matched with slim fit, loose bottoms that provide that retro effect, that once layered with the other pieces and accessories bring the outfit to life in the modern age in a very eloquent way

Fendi just gave a new meaning to the phrase “winter is coming”, taking the most stylish walk into a colorful and minimalist fall/winter 2021 season with comfort and wearability in mind for the modern man. In this collection we see a predominant and comfortable slim fit throughout the pieces in the collection with soft and delicate layering of different textiles in different pieces with the introduction of a new must for the season; the puffy shorts. The use of mismatch of different fabrics adds up the whole layering effect, giving this styling element a new meaning that we haven’t seen in a while. Another trend alert from this collection are the “little”, fitted vests, making a retrospective come back with a modern twist.
