A Simple Approach

TGIF! Are you ready for some fresh new tunes? Because we have a few to go around, so buckle up! Fist off, we have Selena Gomez’s newest collaboration with Trevor Daniel “Past Life”, a sweet and melodic pop song infused with rap and subtle electro vibes. The song is a banger, yet another hit for miss Gomez. Can someone tell her to stop?!! Actually, please don’t, everything she has been releasing since “Rare” is simply pure genius. Britney did it again y’all! Taking us all by surprise, miss american dream shook the music industry yet again on may 28th around 10pm by re releasing her album: “Glory”; with the addition of the single: “Mood Ring”.  Now, the single has apparently been available for a while now for the asian market, a special “Platinum” edition for Japon to be specific (as you may know, they always but in a few more songs for them on the records), but for us here on the other hemisphere, only a few hard core fans had knowledge of it’s existence. For those of you whom, like me, were blindsided by this; here’s the background story.  Only a few days ago, Britney came up on instagram to thank the fans for making Glory go up to #1 on the iTunes charts again and as a special thank you, she released a updated cover art for the Glory album, an image in which we see Britney herself, tangled up in chains in a bikini, laying in the desert. Chromatica; Lady Gaga’s 6th studio album is finally out!. Released today, may 29th at midnight, after a very long wait, and much anticipated come back from the early days Gaga, we finally got what we wanted, a full on electro - dance extravaganza, to dance our behinds off and rip our throats off while singing along. We have heard two of the main singles from the album so far: Stupid Love and Rain On Me; both super uplifting dance pop anthems, that have had us hooked and craving for more ever since they were released (or rather; leaked). Pretty sure many of you were waiting for the struck of midnight to be able to finally get your hands on this record and see what it has to offer. I must admit, it wasn’t love at first sight, for me personally, the songs kind of have to grow on you, listen to them a few times before you actually like them, which I guess you can say is a bit of a disappointment.
