Fitness & Health:Water, a basic human right and our body’s best friend
The average human body is 57-60% water; this must tell you something, right? According toscientists around the world the average human being should take at least 8 glasses of water daily. Now I always wondered how much is 8 glasses?... well I came up with that answer a few years ago when I read in a nutrition site that we should at least drink 2 liters of water during the day and before 5 o’clock, now I don’t know how much of this is true but at least in my case I have proven this to be right. so if you want to give it a try go ahead.
Drinking water at the right time
- Drinking one or two glasses of water right after you wake up in the morning helps to activate internal organs, it also purifies the colon making it easier to absorb the nutrients. Also helps with weight loss.
- One glass of water 30 minutes before a meal helps with digestion
- a glass of water before bed helps with blood pressure
*Drinking chilled water may help bust your metabolism, which may lead to weight loss.
Drinking water it’s not all it takes of course to a healthy life, but it sure is a great first step, water help in the process of absorption of the nutrients you ingest, also help you get rid of the waste your body produces, it also helps your immune system and many other body functions, so if you manage to get this habit you’ll be helping yourself more then you know.
Be careful though, like everything excesses are no good, even when it comes to water, if you drink too much water you can actually kill your cells, you can actually drown them, so careful with that. Make sure you check with a doctor cause like I said everybody has different needs so you may need to drink more or less than the average statement. That depends on your weight, your activity and many other factors.
